Hi, I just discovered the powerful drag and drop feature in photoshare, it literally saved my sanity! What I'd like to have is photoshare in a separate window, without postnuke frames. That way users can bring up this separate window, navigate inside of ps and drag the photos they want to have into their articles on the original window. I hope someone either knows a trick I could use, or this is implemented in a new version. Dennis. PS: Thanks again for a great module! |

Now that's an interesting idea. You can handle drag and drop events in the Internet Explorer, but if you drag an image onto a textarea the browser just loads the image instead of pasting the URL (which you get if you drag it into a text editor). Perhaps this can be done with some fitting JavaScript event handlers. I'll look into it. Until then you can use the technique demonstrated in the Submit_News hack. |

I'm sorry, I was dragging the pictures into a text editor! IE2 on content express and the postnuke editor in postnuke. I didn't know that was actually supposed to work. The question was really if there is a way to show photoshare outside the postnuke frame. Then I can use the photoshare only screen to drag my pictures from. Do you see what I mean? |

I see what you mean, and no, Photoshare cannot - and will not - do that. It is possible to specify single albums for showing without the frames, but it cannot be done in general. You can although open .../index.php?module=photoshare&func=findimage and select an images as in the Submit News hack - but then instead drag&drop from the thumbnail (although that doesn't give yoy the complete image ....). No other ideas. |
