Registered users are unable to see the images in the random blocks. I have:

Users PhotoShare:Random Block: Featured Product Block::55 Read
Users Photoshare:Randomblock: Random Shots:: Read

What's wrong here?

Capitalization means everything. Try "photoshare" all lowercase. I haven't used the random block so I don't know the syntax for it.

PostNuke shows it like this:
Photoshare:Randomblock: Block title::Block Id

I now have it like this:
Users photoshare:: :: Read
Users Photoshare:Random Block: Featured Product::55 Read
Users Photoshare:Randomblock: Random Shots:: Read

Registered user can now see the Random Shots block image, and can click it to view it, but can't see the featured product block image. I get a broken image in that block and when I click it I get the following error:
You do not have access to this function

What am I missing?

Try changing "Random Block" to "Randomblock" and see what happens. You might also consider using only the name of the block OR the ID instead of both.

The correct permission check is "Photoshare:Randomblock:". Sorry for the uppercase "P".

I now have this and it still isn't working:

Users Photoshare:Randomblock: Featured Product::55 Read
Users Photoshare:Randomblock: Random Shots::48 Read

Now registered users are unable to see either of the images. Mayun this is driving me nutzzzz.

Have you tried to use either "Featured Product" OR "55"? What happens if you remove one or the other?

I'm having a similar problem with the Photoshare:Randomblock: permissions, but I don't want unregistered users to see the Random Picture Block.

I've got:

Unregistered Photoshare:Randomblock: Random Eddie Pic::16 None

16 is the BID# and Random Eddie Pic is what the block is called. I tried:

Unregistered Photoshare:Randomblock: random::16 None

after reading in the blocks admin section that the "title" was "random".

Am I missing something really easy here?
