I'm thinking about offering all my users some kind of personal page. The rudimentary solution offered by Postnuke does not suffice my idea. I'd like to add a function to the Postnuke registration that adds a new publication in pagesetter with the user's name. Here he should have edit access. I'm not too sure if this is already possible with pagesetter as you don't return to the changed publication but to pagesetter administration.

A further step would be to offer personal photoalbums in photoshare. I'd like to build a link into the personal pagesetter page that would make a new album upon request. There the user could upload his own photos for other users to see.

How do you like this idea, and do you think this is possible? What would be needed if pagestetter/photoshare isn't ready yet?

I posted a similar request to the postnuke forums a while back:

I would like to take it a step further, but then it would have to be implemented within the PostNuke core. Have a look at the exoplatform ( http://www.exoplatform.com ). These guys just release there RC1 for version 1 of a java portal that enables per group and per user visual editing of a.o. protlet containers in which you can show anything. Real cool!

Hope I'm not getting off topic now :)

Anyway, like the idea of a such functionality being implemented in Pagesetter as well.

The answer to this problem has got to be extremely simple but I just can't get my mind around it for some reason.

To create the sub-albums, I just click the "Add Album" link when inside the root album.
