    Hej J?rgen - st?rkt album !!!

I would like to request the possibilty to choose between thumbnail index-view of an album and the full-size showing in one thread of all the pictures in an album.

    Fullsize view would be like:

    Full size pic

    next full size pic

    next full size pic etc...

And thumbnail view would be like:

    Thumb Thumb2 Thumb3 Thumb4

    Thumb5 Thumb6 Thumb7 Thumb8

    Thumb9 Thumb 10 ...etc...

    Thanks,

    Jacob fra K?benhavn

Yahoo! That is the only feature missing, which keeps me from really using it

Do we want a new window to popup when clicking on thumbnail, or open in same window?

Can you point to somewhere that illustrates it? Just to make sure I do it right the first time.

    That sounds very good.

I think we want it to show in the same window - keeping in mind the ergonomics (the fysical easiness) with which you are able to navigate.

    But who am I ? A scriptsucking parasite ....

Anyways - possibility for members to add some kind of private album ? With a max limit as to the upload in Bytes...

    Thanks J?rn.

    1) members can have private albums - just select a few names from the PostNuke user list and publish for them only.

    2) Max upload - see admin menu.

    See an example here: http://www.nlroei.nl/fotoboek/index.php3?albumid=photslhamk

It is in dutch, but probably clear enough.

If you click on one of the images it opens in the same window, with the selected theme (this is Slash though)

Btw. Notice the little pencil underneath each photo? It is used for assigning descriptions / comments to photo's, which is nice as thinking of descriptions for a lot of pictures is kind of difficult!

P.S. A-S-S-I-G-N-I-N-G has nothing to do with body parts ;-)

Ok so a member can use this feature to upload five pictures that can only be viewed by all the other members in the same group.

Then - How to add a link in the profile (View this profiles pics/paintings/art) if any has been uploaded - and perhaps a number indication like: View this users album (3 photos).

    That is great, really....

What do you mean by "profile"? The user information page where you can see how many posts etc.?

I wouldn't know how to do that, but perhaps it can be done.

Yes, the user information page, sorry.

Adding a link to the user information is basically just writing it in - harcoded....

So, if I can upload like five pics to an album, and a link to this album, using my name as reference or something else, and just add that to the user information page.... You would have a direct link, as if you linked to my Journal.... in stead of course it would be an album.

    Hello,
This is a very nice and clear module. I like it.
I would greatly appreciate a page with thumbnail view of the album.
When clicking on a thumbnail, a full-size picture will open. It can be configured how the picture will appear - either in pop-up, or in the same window.

Thank you and keep up the good work.

Reading this about the multiple thumbnails in stead of the slideshow makes me enthousiastic as well.
Has this already been done, and if yes, where can I find it.

Thumbnails has been completed in CVS to be released with next version. You can see it in the demo (click top left thumbnails-button in viewer).

I think I got misunderstood in this post.

I did not mean a thumbnailview and then ONE full-size picture at a time. I meant a thumbnailview of the album (as already made elegantly and with a fantastic hiding feature !! ) and then the possibility to click one time and see all the pictures in the album in full size. It is annoying that u have to click and click and click and click, thus this great - in my opinion - feature.

Thanks for a great album anyways.

If you make u make it, if not, not. But it would be great.

The new templating system (coming up) will allow you to make your own viewer and thus setup a system where you can view all the images in one window. It does although require some PHP skills. I further more hope that people are going to send in their templates so that I can have a repository of interesting templates here on elfisk.dk.
