Is there any way of editing the submission/edit forms so that less of the stuff (e.g. topic) displays; a lot of it is not always relevant, plus I want to add instructions to that page too. I had a look, but thought I should ask before I tried it and got my fingers burnt :-)
    Thanks,
    Chris.

Yes. This is part of the new workflow feature set. There is a new manual dedicated to workflow. It is also in docs / manual. The answer should be in there. I don't have access to that right now so let me know if the answer isn't there.

I think the part Chris is actually talking about is mentioned in the "Customization" part of the manual and in the Guppy manual, this is about creating an input form. The workflow part covers how to control processing the input forms toward a visible publication of content.

These form layouts are .XML files and go in the pagesetter/publications/<pubtype> directory and have to be named for the workflow stage they are associated with. If you had a pubType named PN-Blog, then a file describing the input form for a new PN-Blog would be newFormLayout.xml and it would go into the pagesetter/publications/PN-Blog directory (which you would have to create).

Some instructions for creating such files can be found in the manual at ./docs/manual/Guppy_Development.html in your pagesetter distribution. The examples are skimpy but the info is there.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong on any of this. :D
