    The bigmouth I am, I tried to update post-nuke.net today. "5.0.0 beta works great at kaffeeringe.de - let me update". Well it came as it had to come: The upgrade failed. I received an error message I forgot to save, but it said the 4.2.0.0. Update didn't work because the workflow field in the db was double.

    I have a site running with 5.0.0. beta 2 but there was never anything older that that - has anybody every tried to upgrade 4.0.0.0?

    Ugh. Sorry to hear that.

    Let me know if there is some way that I can help. I have briefly gone through pninit.php to see if something would jump out at me and it didn't.

    What does pagesetter report as its' current version number in pnversion.php?

    I've upgraded version 4.1.0 to version to 5.0.0b, I hadn't any troubles... pfew...

    can't you delete the extra fiels with phpMyadmin?

    I know it is hokey but what about upgrading to v4.1 and then 5.0 and see if that works. If so, we have a problem somewhere in pninit.php.
