Can this be done? I have a 0.750 version of PN, using PageSetter, and a non-XTE theme. I want my right blocks to appear however I've noticed from other posts that a right block is now something configured in the XTE theme. I don't have an XTE theme (yet). I simply haven't learnt how to create an XTE theme yet. Can I convert my old style theme into some kind of XTE theme quickly? Is this the answer?

I've got my templates built and I am really happy with them. I just want my old blocks back on the right hand side. Anybody got any ideas?

    Cheers,

    Dave :casstet:

Did you use Autotheme to create your theme? If so, read the Module news item from postnuke.com regarding the 0.8 release of Autotheme. There are some really cool features there, including creating a very flexible site design (like showing and hiding different blocks depending on what page is showing).

They also have a utility to convert other themes into Autothemes.

This might or might not help you but I have just been reading up on the new release and am pretty excited about it.

The theme I am using at present isn't an autotheme either. I'd be very interested in a conversion utility if there is one available. Can you direct me to it? I can't find anything like it anywhere.

    Cheers.

Go to the home of Autotheme: http://spidean.….net/index.php

You will have to register on the site and log in.

Then go to Downloads / Modules. You should see the link to download the AutoConvert module.
