I have attempted to do a new install of .750 followed by a new install of photoshare 4.01. Whenever I attempt to initialize the photoshare module I receive the following error:
"Your server does unfortunately not have the image library "GD" installed, so Photoshare cannot be installed. Please contact your web administrator in order to get GD installed."

I have attempted this on two different web hosts that i have accounts at, and get the same error message. I have emailed both webhosts and they confirm that GD is installed and configured correctly.

On host number 1, I previously had photoshare 4.01 working on PostNuke .726.

I have also attempted all the steps in this post: http://forums.postnuke.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=31912

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The steps mentioned at postnuke.com has nothing to do with your problem. Have you checked to see which version they are running. I'm not sure if Photoshare requires a specific version, but I know there has been some problems with GD on my former hosts who also said the same as your.

If your site is under construction, try to downgrade the XTE-package to the RC2 version, if you can find it. I can post a link in while...

    It's worth the try! ;)

Is there a list of supported PHP / GD versions that are known to work with photoshare?

I would prefer moving to a server that has an appropiate version of PHP / GD, than downgrade my XTE package to a release candidate version. Using the RC2 version of XTE-package mixed with the final .750 version of PostNuke may cause some wierd compatibility issues... though if its my last resort I would be willing to test it out.

I've solved my issue, I re-created my php.ini file up on my Win 2k host and this solved the issue
