I'm very pleased about photoshare :D. It's something we all safe-mode operators have been waiting for. And now we got one that it's actually very well coded!

What I'd like to have is possibility to add images from the directory on the web-server. I have big images (1600x1200 etc.) that I just can't manage to upload :casstet:. It seems that I can't start using photoshare before this feature is added.

Another feature that I'm in need of is image scaling. I have wallpaper service with four resolutions at the moment. I'd love to have a possibility to scale full resolution image to the resolutions I need. It really would be handy for users like digital photographers etc.

Thank you very much for the photoshare. There is lot of different image galleries, but I've really missed as good image gallery as photoshare is.

I can't promise anything on the feature requests. But the import function seems more likely than the resolution feature.

:exclam: I was wandering that is the photoshare released under GPL-license? I'm expecting it to be, but I'd like to see the license information in the future release. Just to make sure that your rights as the main developer of the photoshare are taken into the consideration when someone wants to modify or do something else to the module.

I haven't opened my gallery yet, and one reason is the size of the files my readers sends me for distribution. The common camera size is 640x480 - way to big for my layout, so is it possible to implement an automatic scale-down option on files bigger than a given size (width). I guess this could be done the same way as the thumbnails are being generated.

Yes, this will be possible, but I cannot say when (see the roadmap for a prioritized list).
