    Hi All

I'm a new user of this excellent photo album module and it works well - thanks.

I've seen several references to being able to import images into albums from the web server. Presumably I'd do this by FTPing a batch of images to a known location on the server and import from there. Unfortunately, I don't see this feature available from the postnuke admin->photoshare area.

I just downloaded the latest version (4.2.0) - am I missing something?

    Thanks in advance.

Sorry to reply to my own post, but I finally found the import from web server link.

In case anyone else missed it:
    - it's not in the postnuke admin area
    - logged in as admin/owner, go to add images
    - there is small (easy to miss :) ) link at the top of the upload images page labeled "As administrator you may import files from the web-server's file system here."

    Hi yours,

    i've some questions about batch-upload.
    1.
i know some galleries for mambo, that can upload complete .zip-files and extract them automatically. is this possible with photoshare?
    2. is it possible to read the meta-information of pics and show them with the photos? (e.g. camera-model, time, date, iso etc.)

    thx

1 - can be done by admin only.

    2 - no.
