When viewing the gallery (main view, where you see the albums) under each folder icon you see "x images".
It'd be nice to see also if there are folders in that folder (nested folders), so an album with other albums inside but no pictures doesn't appear to be empty (ex, "4 albums", "2 albums and 10 images", "x images", ...)
