    It has been added to the pagesetter.org site and you can get it at the location noted in the top post.

    It seems like you may have not uploaded the CountPubs plugin. This is a helper plugin that is an adaptation of the readpubCount that is set up to better work with other plugins as support as well as still being usable as a standard variable. Check that you have this file uploaded to the same folder as the CatBrowser plugin.

    is it in modules/pagesetter/pntemplates/plugins or just in pntemplates/plugins? The way it is coded it expects it to be in the pagesetter directory one rather than the one off of the root.

    Can you give any background on the server your site is running on? server type, php version, pagesetter version, and postnuke version? I am a little stumped on this since that line it mentions is just the include for the CountPubs plugin. Can you give A URL where this occurs?

    hello Ferretlover!

    I`ve got it!
    i changed line 27&28 into

    Code

    require_once ( 'function.pagesetter_createFilter.php' );

    require_once ( 'function.pagesetter_CountPubs.php' );

    I considered using this method to require the items, since it is a more standard PHP, but the rout I took was a standard Smarty method so that it would be available in other plugins, but if it causes a problem I will try your method.

    It is my pleasure. I have updated the file now and you can get the updated beta as soon as it is approved at Pagesetter.org. If you have any ideas of things you would like to see in this plugin do not be afraid to mention it.

    I just tried the lastest version and I get this error:

    Quote

    Warning: Call-time pass-by-reference has been deprecated - argument passed by value; If you would like to pass it by reference, modify the declaration of smarty_function_pagesetter_createfilter(). If you would like to enable call-time pass-by-reference, you can set allow_call_time_pass_reference to true in your INI file. However, future versions may not support this any longer. in /Library/WebServer/Documents/.maui/.aspediacms/DEV/modules/pagesetter/pntemplates/plugins/function.pagesetter_CatBrowser.php on line 319

    Warning: Call-time pass-by-reference has been deprecated - argument passed by value; If you would like to pass it by reference, modify the declaration of [runtime function name](). If you would like to enable call-time pass-by-reference, you can set allow_call_time_pass_reference to true in your INI file. For these lines:

    Quote

    $filter = smarty_function_pagesetter_createFilter (array('filter' => $thisfilter), &$smarty);

    $thiscount = smarty_function_pagesetter_CountPubs(array('tid' => $setup['tid'], 'filter' => $filter), &$smarty);

    it can be fixed by taking out the "&" in front of "$smarty" in those 2 lines
