I am developing a web with some related publications and could be very useful to have a field to store the publication ID of another publication type.

The field could be called, for example, publication-ID and in the definition you have to choose the publication type that you can choose. When yo add a new publication in that field you would get a list of existing publications (title only) and the associated ID would be save.

For example, a publication with data of computers and other with personal data. In the first one, una field would contain the ID of the person that works with the computer

I have been looking for any idea similar to mine but I have no find anything so I propose here.

This has already been implemented in the CVS version. Will be available with the next release (don't ask me for a date).
