I'm looking for a developer with enough insight to convert Photoshare to a functional, simple e-mail based picture shop. Here's how I'd like it:

    - My gallery is closed for other than my customers.
    - Every image has a falldown meny attached to the preview window with the available size(s) and price.
    - When an image is selected for ordering, the image gets a tag attached to it, saying "ordered".
    - Next to the falldown i want a "Complete order" button, leading to a final page listing all the images (with thumbs) and the total prize for everything.
    - No PayPal or VISA is required, only an email. I'll get payed when the customers picks up their pictures.

Please contact me using e-mail (with an estimated prize and time prospect): egronnestad@gmail.com

UPDATE: I HAVE CONVERTED TO GALLERY2 AND NO LONGER IN NEED OF A DEVELOPER

    Howdy,

So I'm thinking that because photoshare uses smarty this could all be accomplished with smarty and plugins. Is it ideal, not really but I think it can be done particularly since you aren't processing any payments.

You could even create a pagesetter pub with the sizes, prices, and other info and then call that from photoshare- this way you could edit the prices, sizes, and other info with ease...

For the real-time update of the photo (when selected and it recieves an icon "ordered") you could use AJAX so to avoid reloading the page...but that's a whole other ballgame...

And the final page (the shopping cart) you would just need to make a new template and call it in the url...

I don't use photoshare so I'm just guessing here, but I am good with smarty, plugins, and cross handling of pagesetter data so if you decide to use smarty and do it youself I'd be glad to help in any way I can. I would also help for free provided you set the code free for all... Just let me know.

Sounds great! I'm really a newbie when it comes to php, as I'm a designer and not programmer, but heck, let's go for it. i'll look into a few things during the weekend. A free e-commerce module for photographers would be just the thing for PostNuke. A lot of my colleagues are just waiting to get online, so why not...

Ok... I looked at a few alternatives but all I faound was that my own person is the greatest barrier. My brain simply won't work with me in cases like this.
