First wondering if there is any update on the issue with uploading JPG files?

I was able to upload them fine till i set the ownership to web (attempting to get the upload to disc option to upload) now i can only upload gifs..

Also, how do i fix this little issue:

Update: it seems the uploading of JPG is really relative to size.
I got that solved.
Now if you can provide any assistance with the above issue or indicate which div later i need to removing the left padding from that would be great!
