Let me begin by stating that photoshare is an amazing add-on. Great job to all involved.

I have however run into a tough problem. I converted my perfectly well running site postnuke site to a multisite and that is where my photoshare problems started.

Postnuke - Most recent version 0.762
photoshare - most recent version 4.2.0

I followed the multisite instructions and all worked well until I activated the photoshare module on the second site. From this point in time I cannot upload photos onto either site.

When I try to upload individual files the browser returns with an error in connection. (I suspect that PHP died). The URL is:
http://www.laperlaowners.za.net/index.php?module=Photoshare&func=uploadimages

When I use the admin "bulk upload from a folder" functionality the browser hangs with the following URL
http://www.laperlaowners.za.net/index.php?module=Photoshare&func=doimportimages


I originally had photoshare set up to use the database for storage. However, I have since reverted to using a directory for storage. This has not changed anything.

Here are the quick questions:
- Does photoshare work in a multisite environment?
- Is there documentation I can read on how to achieve this?

Now for the more difficult questions (if appropriate) -what did I do wrong?

Sorry, I have never tried a multisite environment, so I don't even know what that does.

I don't know if Photoshare works in this environment.

I have struggled long and hard. I erased all my postnuke installations and started off again.

It transpires that it is not a multisite problem. I have reinstalled a single site and this is what happens:
= After installation photoshare seems to work, I can make ablums and upload photos
= However, once try to use the Admin "bulk" upload functionality everything breaks. When the douploadimages is called the server resets.
= After this happens I cannot upload pictures as a user. The connection is lost when the uploadimges is called
= After I try to upload, I see a new file in the temporary folder, but still no file in the images folder.

I have searched high and low and I just cannot find the problem. I have played with permissions, using the database for storage, and everything else.
