    I keep getting the following message:

    /home2/barneto1/public_html/modules/mediashare/pnvfs_fsdirectapi.php(44):
    Failed to copy file '/home2/mydomain/public_html/pnTemp/mediashare/PrevieweF1Apc' to '/home2/mydomain/public_html/images/mediashare/t7/b0mm5ywarix2fznnh4oe9viqitbs5u-tmb.png' while creating new file in virtual storage system. Please check media upload directory in admin settings and it's permissions.

    Both folders are 6777... Any ideas or have I missed something valuable in the setup procedure?

    I have seen some cases where the directory above must have some group inheritance bit set.

    But, besides that, you *must* use '/home2/mydomain/public_html/mediashare' instead of '/home2/mydomain/public_html/images/mediashare' unless you have some .htaccss url rewrite enabled.

    Ok, that's sorted!

    Now, is there a simple hack to make the image upload in Pagesetter work with Mediashare?

    Stay in there, J?rn, you're doing a great job!

    Not to my knowledge. But, thinking about it, it should be relatively straight forward to create a Pagesetter/Guppy plugin for this purpose. Dunno when I'll get the time for that. Please add it on SourceForge.

    Hi. Unfortunately I have similar problem. Below you can see the directories I am using in the error report I get. I have chmodded directores with 6777. I have also tried chmodding with 777, 2777 and 4777. Can you see from the error report if I have a mistake with folders or could you please figure out what else could have went wrong? My webhosting company has the safemode on. The owner and group are aleccxi/aleccxi in mediashare but the folder 42 has apache as an owner.

    Please check media upload directory in admin settings and it's permissions.

    Thank you for reading this!

    On my ISP I have chmod 2777 on the "mediashare" directory.

    Try also deleting the /42/ (and perhaps others) directory before trying again.

    I tried with 2777 and deleting the folder but I keep getting the same error message. Seems that I have to contact my hosting provider. Thank you for your assistance. If I learn something new I will let you know.

    "mediashare" at root solves it alright, but raises another issue here: i'm running Postnuke in multisite mode, so sharing a common folder across installations has me worried about file overwriting. is this fear legitimate?
