RSS feed of recent non beta does not work anymore correctly.
it does convert correct url tags within description field.
Prior versions did not have this attitutde, so i guess something has changed.

may someone be so kind and tell me what to change that URLS are not translated anymore in html-readable code?

just put attention to the most recent news (1583). the image tags and its source urls are miswritten by the rss part of pagesetter.

Also i noticed that the javascript popup (findimage.js) does not work anymore in pagesetter. Dont know why, but the javascript part is completely wiped out of the source when the page is displayed, although it does exist in the editor AND in the database.

i already tried disabling pnanticracker, but this didnt work so far...

any help is welcome

this is really an urgent problem and i cant imagine that noone has the same issue or at least has an idea how to solve.

in description field of the rss feed i use


but this destroys any embedded img tags by replacing a & with

if remove pnvarprepfordisplay the rss parser will crash saying that e.g. is not a valid entity.

using |pnvarprephtmldisplay or |escape have the same result as pnvarprepfordisplay!

i need a valid description field which does NOT change URLs in it.

again after weeks ----> ANYONE?!?!?!

may jorn has an idea... i could not find any help on this incl search

well i have modified smarty's modifier.escape.php as a workaround i added there the case 'rss' which removes any   and replaces it with a space.

i would like to have a more accurate and stable way but it seems noone here has the knowledge to solve this...
