I am trying to build an inlinepublist that shows 5 publications, but shows them based on their category. There are hundreds of categories, so I don't want to specify each category, I only want to find the 5 newest publcations and make sure they are from *different* categories. The inlinepublist brings back the 5 newest publications, and it brings back some from the same category. I have yet to find a way to filter out the publications that match the category of an already displayed publication. Does anyone know a way to do this?

There's no built-in way to do this.
