can't get .jpeg to upload

    I have tried to rename the file to .jpg, .JPG and .jpeg, but every time I try to upload a jpeg file, I get the error: " /html/modules/mediashare/pnmedia_imagegdapi.php(140): Unknown image format 'image/jpeg' / '/tmp/Upload_l0bmvl'".
    What is going wrong with my Mediashare??? :(
