    I've setup a calendar so that a 3rd party can login and add events. This works fine. However if they make a mistake they can't edit the event. When they click on the event in the calendar they can see the page they created, but it doesn't give them an edit option. It does work however for me logged in as admin.

    I setup the user permissions for their username with Admin privelages but they still can't edit.

    I searched the forums and haven't been able to find the answer?!?

    You have to check the box "edit own publication" in publication settings.

    I'm not sure if that exactly it because I haven't got any installation here.

    So is there not a way to have group admin priveleges for a particular publication type? Let's say myself and two other people need the ability to add/edit/delete calendar entries(it's a tentative calendar). Is this not possible?

    That's permission you need where 4 5 7 or TID for wich you whant this permission.

    I setup user permissions like this:

    user_name|pagesetter::|5::|Admin

    Here's what I'm trying to accomplish (for usernames with permissions and logged in).

    Add link on pgcalendar page for this pub type( this currently works)
    Edit this link on event page view (this doesn't work)

    If I give them a direct link to list the pub-type they can then select and edit there own.

    I've figured out that when selecting an event from the calendar it opens the even using the pgcalendar template Default-event.html. I tried adding the necessary edit link here, but I think my issue is my permissions.

    Does anyone know how to properly setup permissions for pgcalendar? Do I set it up just like I would for pagesetter?

    i.e. 1 being the tid used
    group | pgcalendar:: | 1 | Admin

    You maybe need to customise your workflow to select permissions as you whant.

    Can you describe what sort of permissions you want for which group.

    I use a workflow which permissions are :

    Admin => all rights
    Members+ => can add, edit without admin approbation
    Members => can add but with admin approbation
