I'm playing around with the content module for the first time and like it very much, extremly flexible and user friendly way of deciding, what content pieces to use, thanks Jorn! It is so nice in my eyes that it would make a lot of sense to use it for our wiki (we have a lot of user who are not experienced with scripting or anything like this). But ... you can't do wiki-like linking/adding of pages (you know, the brackets linking thing which automatically creates a new page once someone clicks at it) which is one of the big advantages of wiki modules. I added Wiki_Code module to my install but Content ignores this. I've only some html content box anyway.
Any chance to add a hook for wiki_code or even better: I think the Content module can take postnuke a huge step forward in terms of user friendliness and comfort. But this would need that someone could define similar to pagesetter but in the way its possible in Content a layout for publications types (news, wiki, faq, free-style) which decides what kind and where people can add content (which of the existing content "boxes"). And how it is handled (wiki style, html, unconverted code).
I've worked a lot with pagesetter but the template generation is a bit unflexible (you have to think ahead how many pictures someone might want to add for example) and Content is a marvel in that. But where pagesetter forces me to o limit people for the layout and editing type, Content does not allows me to limit them if I wish. Because of that it would be awesome if you could put a publication type definition with a layout (colums, who to add what content type) on top of the Content module content addition.

I've thought about this quite some time now and I'm very much wanting an option to add internal links inside Content module that are testing the existence of the linked page or creating it if it does not exist.
Jorn, I'm willing to pay for this added functionality to the content module (if we don't talk about hundreds of euro).

1) Content is expected to have a templating system that restricts users to certain layouts (see the NOC feature requests). This will be somewhat like Pagesetter's publication types.
2) Linking is interesting. Please add as a feature request on the NOC.

1) Good to hear! If that could be done online instead of writing html it would be especially nice.
2) Done. I'm really convinced you can thwart a lot of the wiki systems existing out there if you add this. Because all of them try right now to get something like scribite into the wiki engines (including mediapedia, the media version of wikipedia) which is way more complicated than adding wiki-style linking into scribite html-formated pages in my eyes.
