I am new to Post Nuke.
I have installed PN.8 to allow the use of Content which is meeting the majority of my expectations. But I am having a problem in making the page structure match my design. There are two parts to the problem.
- Adding a new page.
I am using the sub page option to create pages in the next level of the hierarchy.
Subpage A.1 appears in the list physically above Page A.
When the page order is displayed using Table Contents the correct dependency is not illustrated. The displayed dependency reflects the order on the Page List and Content Structure page rather than the logical structure suggested by the use of sub page.
- Moving pages.
I am unclear about what is happening here.
Clicking on the page icon to the left of the page name produces a 4 point arrow cursor. Dragging that icon produces two possible outcomes - a very open arrow or a NO GO symbol. Neither of them seem to allow either of the moves I would like to make. These are
- Simple re-ordering of pages at the same level of the tree.
- Moving pages to different levels of the tree.
I have installed the latest version of Content but have not (yet) installed Scribite. Partly because I like to take one step at a time and understand it but partly because I did not understand from the installation instructions where the various components of Scribite should live in the PostNuke directory tree.
Thanks in advance for all help
