I've installed Mediashare 3.2.0 in Zikula 1.0.0 but cannot allow users access to create own albums or upload media.
I can do this as administrator fine but no as an allowed user.
I even created a scratch area where anyone can upload or create albums but it does not seem to work.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Is Mediashare not being supported anymore? If it isn't I need to know before I put any more time into trying to get it to work.
So far I have played with the user permission settings in Zikula itself and for a while seemed to get the effect I wanted, which was users being able to post media but not edit the album or other peoples uploads. I got it to work for about 5 minutes then it stopped all by itself and the access settings in the Mediashare module reset to the defaults it had when I installed it.
When you change the Mediashare settings is it supposed to set something up in the Zikula perms files or is it held in the Mediashare files directly?

Ok, i figured this out on my own. Don't know if this si the way to fix it, but it's working. I gave all users delete permission to the module and then the access settings within the module itself started working. I dont like that all users can see all the options on the edit menu even if they cant use them, but it is working.
