    I've run into a weird problem on our school department's website: For some strange reason, it seems that PS (6.3.0) now links to the version number instead of the document ID when displaying a document. So instead of

    Code

    func=viewpub&tid=x&pid=y
    I get

    Code

    func=viewpub&tid=x&id=y
    when clicking on view in the publist.

    Naturally, this lets a document "disappear" from links as soon as it has been modified. (That's how we noticed...) I tried creating a new document type, repairing the database (couldn't access it for quite some time) and overwriting the pagesetter files with a newly downloaded package. Unfortunately, the problem remains.

    My guess is that something in the PS tables has gone haywire, I can't think of any other cause now. Has anyone an idea where to check or how to fix this?

    I tried a bit more, but all I could find out that it really seems to be the function behind the "View" link in func=publist. Other functions still try to access the correct link with PID, but this function, which seems to provide the document, now works with ID, so the document can not be found.

    Does anyone know where I can find that function?

    I found that this was not the real source of my problems and started a new thread. This one can be considered "solved"...
