I have installed Mediashare 4.0 on a new install of Zikula 1.1.2. I am using MySQL 5.x. The upload & tmp folder are CHMOD 777. After uploading an image, it is in the folder, and it is in the database, but the Thumbnail image placeholder just has a red X where the images should be. If I click on it to see the full image, the loading box comes up and the circle goes round & round & round..... for as long as I let it. I stopped it at 20 minutes, as the images are less than 50 kb and should take only seconds to load.
I tried adding the Thumbnail module to see if that would help, but it doesn't make any difference.
I also tried adding MediaAttach as a hook, but I don't see that it has any affect at all. How do they work together? I got MediaAttach to work perfectly alone, but I would like the album layout as shown in MediaShare. I did not have any problem displaying the images in MediaAttach - only MediaShare.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
In the database, under msmediahandler it says imagegd for a png file, and pdf for a pdf file. But neither one is displaying.
