    Moin J?rn,

congratulations for pagesetter. A really powerful module. But I'm
afraid it would only be for pros only as long as it's not possible to
    transfer complete publication types.

I mean: The average Postnuke-User is in my experience a real dummy not
willing to touch anything like source code. They want readymade themes
for download and easy to use modules. You module opens a horizon of
modules, but this means work for them - work even with source code
    involved.

I'm not sure if your module isn't only adding another layer of
abstraction to Postnuke. Because if you want to make pagesetter real
popular it must be possible to export my publication type and import
it somewhere else. So that another dummy can use my designed
discography publication type. But isn't that a module? :-)

    Exactly!

    See http://sourcef…03&atid=599539.

And, yes, you can see Pagesetter as an extra abstraction on top of PostNuke, but it is a hell of a lot easier to define a discography in Pagesetter than creating it from scratch - not to mention your later needs for RSS feeds, inclusion in menus, searching etc. etc. All of which you will get for free at some point (when it's been implemented once and for all).

So, yes, Pagesetter is for the more advanced PN admin. But there must be a couple of those types out there. Pagesetter has been download approx. 550 times in less than a week - pretty good for a new module, if I may say so :-)

Aren't you afraid of making enemies within the community? All those module-programmers that bocome "degraded" to pub-type-builder? :-D
