Strange problem, i can edit with the wysiwyg editor and save the document but when i view the document the html code is shown. It does not render the code it just display it. Complete with font tags and everything. Has anyone experienced this before ?

I have in other modules seen problems if you save the document with "show source" enabled - could it be that?

Yes I have this exact problem on both test installs I have. I noticed some tags are rendered- bold, but most are not- img, font color, underline?
I tried changing allowed tags in pn setting, but that wasn't it. Jorn, What do you mean by having "show Source" enabled. Where?
Anyway, I was waiting to see if I was the only one with this problem, guess not. Hopefully we can trace this now!
Overall, I am really excited by this mod and its potential. Great idea Jorn and awesome work. We should start a template exchange when this mod gets more mature. The flexability of the design you have implemented has great potential. It also seems to work really well for a first release!!!!
Cheers! David. :D

Sorry, by "show source" I referred to the "<>" icon in the editor that changes the edit mode from wysiwyg to html.

And yes, a template collection would definitely be nice.

If you have database access then please check directly in the database how the tags are stored. Do you see "<" symbols in the data or do you see "<" entities?
Could it be your template that does some conversion?
When you re-edit the publication, do you then see tags or formatted (is it only template output that yields this problem or is it also while editing)?

If i create a document with som bold and normal text it shows up fine. But when i create bulleted lists and other advanced formatting things go wrong.
I have chekced the database and i see < > in the data. When i swtich the editor from wysiwyg to source the source looks fine. And when i save and reedit the editor shows the document exactly like last time. But the browser shows the documenst with the HTML code.
This module was so promosing that i was willing to go in production with version 1.0. But now i am not so sure. Has anyone found a solution to this.

konsulenten: looks like you need to enable the tags you are using. In admin::settings you find a list of allowed HTML tags for your site. Pagesetter depends on this, so you will have to enable list tags and "other advanced formatting" there.

Thank's for your quick answer J?rn, you are into something here. I was so impressed over the wysiwyg possibilities that i closed my eyes for the obviuos. I got the lists to work so i going to check the other tags and verify the settings for it in postnuke.
Thank you for are really promising module. If i get this to work i am going to kick out paged. When auto resizing is possible in photoshare you have a killer combination that nothing can match (I think you already :-) ).
Best regards
Kjell (alias konsulenten) :-)

:casstet: Doh!
It was the settings in postnuke! I had changed them before and it didn't work, but before I just changed all the tags to allowed :hallucine:, but when I changed the , <font> and tags to allowed with parameters all showed up fine! Guess I didn't understand how these settings worked.
