Hope you'll forgive the cheek, but the pace of development is so strong thought I'd push my luck by saying what I'd love to see in forthcoming versions. Of course, you're perfectly at liberty to ignore these, but...

Wish list for Pagesetter (let me know if you want me to post on the sourceforge site):

    1) Filter and sort by lists

    2) Filter by PN topic (showing different types of publication, not just the front page one)

    3) Overview permission for publications.

    4) Link publications (i.e. use a field in one publication type to allow you to filter in another type, and have both results returned -- does that make sense?)

p.s. Sometimes HTML area doesn't open up any type area for fields (HTML type, of course). Doing a refresh on the page seems to solve the problem. Using IE6, and Pagestter 3.01

    Thanks

    1) Coming up.

    2) Coming up.

    3) What does that mean?

    4) Duh? What should the first field define that the second list could use?

The htmlArea is beta ... but, yes, I have seen that problem.

Believe there's an overview permission in PN that allows you to see just the headline. That way unregistered users can see what they're missing.

Yeah, I don't think I explained that very clearly. Let's say there a publication type called Magazine Details, containing issue date, publication date, issue number etc. We have another publication type called Magazine Features, listing headline, intro, copy, etc, and issue of magazine it appeared in. Was thinking it would be helpful if the issue details in Magazine Features could be linked to the issue details in Magazine Details, so could pull the whole lot together.

Thinking about this, however, could probably do the same thing in the template if you could filter by any field. Wonder if there might be quite a high performance overhead, though.

Thanks for all the hard work.

Yep, joining database relations would surely be nice. This will although have to wait for a very very long time :-) See also http://www.elfisk.dk/modules.php?op=modload&name=XForum&file=viewthread&tid=385
