It's a bit experimental, but it allows you to create a menu like the one to the left on www.berlingske.dk (Danish newspaper), based solely on a nested category setup.

The info I'm entering in the block admin for tis doesn't seem to take, i.e. I type in List field as list ID, but the block itself just displays: "No list ID set for this block." and when I check the settings in the block admin those entries are blank. Any ideas?

You must type in the *name of the field* in your publication.

I'm sorry -- I know I'm being dense here. Is the field supposed to be one of Title/Value/Description or is it to do with the specific category?

1) You define a set of list items/categories - that is your category type.
2) You define a new publication type with a field of your category type. This field is named X.
3) You write X as the list field (name) in the block.
If you want to specify a top level item to base you menu on then you put the ID of that specific item in "top level" item field.
