first, congratulations for this module, it's excellent and i'm using for now as an alternative for MeG with Phoenix .723
I would like if you could include a search engine and a simple way to add a category and subcategories icon or image, so the users can see that icons at the main page of the gallery (as MeG does).
Also, it coulb be perfect if include some navigation hack in order the users can know always where they are, i.e.
Gallery > category 1 > subcategory 1 > image 1

PS: I'm making some interface changes, some graphic work. If you're interested in developing this item please post me some lines.

Some search functionality is on the list - but with a rather low priority.

Navigation is also on the list, but also a bit down on it.

You will have to clarify your icon/category idea - or send a demo link. I don't fully get it.

If you want to participate in the development then drop me a mail with your exact ideas and some indication of how you are going to implement it. New developers are indeed welcome (and hopefully smooc can add the CVS access) - but I want Photoshare to stay a high quality product, so I must admit that I'm slightly touchy about the code quality.
