I'd like to display a Publication field named "Issue" in a block-list template. Currently I have used the following vars:

I tried using but I got a Smarty error. (syntax error: unrecognized tag:)

    Any ideas?

ADDED follow-up: I'd like to have a header template to display Column Names - (i.e. "Subject -- Issue -- Date Submitted -- Views"). Editing the (pub-type)-block-list.html only allows for detail modifications. So if I have 5 publications I have 5 Headers. Is this possible or should I try doing this another way?

    Thanks in advance,

    -Rob W

    Jorg,

Thanks for the quick response! Your solution worked perfectly! :D

    =================

Can anyone answer the 2nd part of that question? How to display a header line? Is there any way to reference record/line #? Such as:

    ...
... (header line here - where $headerline is predefined)

    ...
    ... (detail line below)

    .....

    Thanks,

    Rob W

You can use $core.id as some sort of counter. But besides that there is unfortunately not any record number supplied. Something will be done to fix this.

The column names are not available.

Well I just added a <pubtype>.block-list-header.html and now I have my header line! Jorn why didn't you tell me I could do this? Heh ;)

Now I can post all my Pagesetter Docs in pnPhpBB type listings -- with pretty header columns and a footer "Archive" link. Thanks Jorn for making this possible!!

    - Regards
