Strange upload problem (Dizkus)

stop. :casstet: I try a big image and correctly said it was too big. Bingo Joe! :D I test gd trying to import with coppermine and paged, they give me error with .gif images, (jpg ok). Maybe photoshare need gd to be all ok to work perfectly. Thanks Davide PS:

Sorry, it's Permissions yet again! (Dizkus)

:casstet: Bump! Oh well... It's odd that Postnuke users don't have access to a reliable Gallery module. Gallery itself baffles most with its complexity, Coppermine is close but not quite there, and Photoshare appears to do the trick but fails when it comes to allowing uploads. is a location and not the needed folder... That's my guess... Now what would be cool is if one could specify a photoshare/coppermine/gallery folder for use in uploading pics that would then be visible in said image galleries. Essentially enable image uploading

Urgent! How to use Photoshare with FTP-folders? (Dizkus)

or that your script does print out status-information while working?! This would prevent timeouts of php or apache itself. coppermine of pnCPG do it that way and timeout while importing large amounts of images is a really rare event. ;) regards Simo

Photoshare on w2k3... (Dizkus)

I'm searching for a gallery that will allow me to add images to my news articles and one that hopefully works on windows 2003 and IIS6. From what I've read so far this seems to be what I'm looking for. The question I'd like to know is if there are any issues with running it on w2k3 and IIS6? Also Should I remove Gallery and do I need Coppermine? Or does Photoshare operate

original name. I am using photshare as only a tool for article creation since its so well integrated with pagesetter, as I am using coppermine for my main photo gallery due to its superior user upload options and such. is there any way to handle this mega image import

Photo upload only capability? (Dizkus)

Is it possible to configure Photoshare to allow members of a site to upload photos to an already existing album without giving them any other album editing capabilities? I've used this feature in both Gallery and Coppermine, and find it very useful. But so far I haven't found how to do this in Photoshare, unless it's not capable of such a thing. Does this ability exist?
