approve uploaded media before its added (Dizkus)

I was wondering, is there a possibility to pre-approve media upload (by the admin for example) through Mediashare for users' media uploads? (including creating albums..etc) before they are actually added? is there such thing or it needs code modification?

Mediashare is an media file gallery designed for use with the web application framework Zikula. With Mediashare you can upload media files into albums and then share these with others using an access control system that allows you to specify read/write access to specific Zikula users or groups, as well as making it public for everybody.
Feature list:
Runs on Zikula systems with SAFE_MODE and OPEN_BASEDIR enabled (this allows Mediashare to be installed on sites with quite restricted PHP access).
Edit albums and organize albums in albums.
Automatic thumbnail creation.
Supports multiple media file formats (gif, png, jpg, flash, pdf, and more)
Reordering of files by drag and drop.
Browse albums and view files in slideshows.
File upload size restrictions (both single file as well a grand total).
Embed photo sets and album from Flickr, SmugMug and Picasa.

Pagestter 6.3 Error (Dizkus)

gives:
"Failed to load module pagesetter (at function: "viewpub")"
I believe this to be down to the pnuser.php script because if I upload an earlier version of this script (without re-actiavting the module) it works OK but the articles do not render the HTML correctly.
Otherwise

Bulk publication creation??? Help!! (Dizkus)
-
In the end I've found a path to a solution...
1.) create a publication that allows the uploading of a CSV file and other relevant informaiton
2.) Write a plugin/extension to be called form the _full template to allow the processing of the uploaded CSV
It will create an array for each line in the CSV and then, based on one of the values in the array add data from another

Get size of uploaded image? (Dizkus)
-
Hey all-
Curious- is there a way to find the dimensions of an uploaded image? I've tried writing plugins that use php's getimagesize() but as pagesetter provides a url to the photo that must be processed (ie: index.php?module=article&type=file&func=get&tid=3&fid=photo&pid=76) by pagesetter rather than a simple url to the file location on the server it will not work...
Uploaded files are accessed via PostNuke's standard index.php file and thereby through Pagesetter. This has two implications 1) files are always subject to the same access control as the publication it is stored with, and 2) data must be streamed through PHP, generating a performance overhead comparing to linking directly to the files. It is the developers opinion that complete access control is more important than performance in this case.
So is there any way to create a path to the location of the photo upload?
Thanks!
